I checked the mail this week to find a nice surprise. The Grand Champion (GC) certificate for my black Silver Fox buck, Pirate, came! Pirate is the first Silver Fox to take up residence at the rabbitry. I did not breed him, he came from Carrot Gardens in New York. I am very pleased with how he has performed on the show table, and he has earned his retirement as a herd buck, no more shows unless we need the numbers. Pirate’s name is now officially ‘GC Carrot Garden’s Blackbeard.’ 🙂
